FAQ Answers
The B.I.P.P. / DOMESTIC VIOLENCE program is conducted virtually through Zoom, with no in-person sessions available. It consists of 18 weekly sessions, each lasting 2 hours.
Male-Only Sessions:
- Offered four times per week (Wednesday 6 am, Wednesday 7 pm, Saturday 7 am, Saturday 9 am).
- Enrollees will receive Zoom login links to all sessions.
Female-Only Sessions:
- Offered twice per week (Thursday 6 am and Saturday 11 am).
- Enrollees will receive Zoom login links to all sessions.
Enrollees may attend a maximum of one session per week, and session attendance is flexible. For example, a male enrollee may attend the Wednesday 7 pm session in week 1, the Saturday 7 am session in week 2, and the Saturday 9 am session in week 3. The flexible schedule allows enrollees to choose sessions as per their convenience.
The maximum time allowed to complete the course is 22 weeks from the booking date (day of initial payment). Failure to complete all 18 sessions within this timeframe will result in termination from the course.
B.I.P.P. / DOMESTIC VIOLENCE is an open group meeting, and enrollees can start immediately after completing all enrollment requirements. There is no set start date, and enrollees can begin at any time.
The total cost of the B.I.P.P. / DOMESTIC VIOLENCE course is $540, with an initial payment of $135 and three monthly payments of $135 each. Monthly progress reports are sent to the C.S.O., and state-approved completion certificates are provided to graduates. The course is conducted exclusively in English.
The Process
1. Booking Process:
- Choose your preferred date and time for booking.
- Note that the selected date and time do not confirm a schedule commitment (We apologize for any inconvenience; we are actively working to streamline this process).
2. Payment Options:
- Make a credit card payment online.
- Alternatively, schedule an appointment for a cash payment.
3. Confirmation Emails:
- Receive your first email confirming your booking along with your receipt.
- Within 24 hours, receive a second email containing the Intake process details, including the Portal Sign-In link.
4. Intake Process:
- Sign into the Portal and complete all required forms/documents.
- Upload a picture ID as part of the intake process.
5. Office Communication:
- Call the office at (832) 830-8662 to go over paperwork.
6. Orientation Package:
- Enrollees will receive an orientation package in the portal, covering basic rules (with a detailed explanation by the facilitator on the first day of attendance), class requirements, and Zoom login links for all sessions.
7.Orientation Completion:
- Call the office at (832) 830-8662 to finalize the orientation process and be cleared to start attending sessions.
- At this point, an enrollment agreement will be completed and sent to the enrollee and the Enrollee's CSO (Community Supervision Officer).
8. Session Commencement:
- Begin attending the B.I.P.P. sessions immediately.
